I turned my store over to Paisley and Dora for the moment. I'm still decided on which images of me should be used. They are far less fussy about these things.

It's harder to protect Carly these days. It used to be that any noise under the bed was a monster -- no question. Now it could be a monster, could be a bunny. I've scared them away more than a few times lately. I keep explaining that my job is to protect Carly while she's sleeping and they need to find somewhere else to sleep -- or at least have the courtesy to check in, so I know it's them and I don't need to worry about it.

What's a bear to do?

Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving! Carly has been making icecream for days -- the house smells yummy and there is no looking at me, so I can steal the honey! Yummy!

It's very hard to sleep these days, now that the bunnies sleep in my room. When they sleep it's fine, they sleep under the bed and are very quiet. It's when they wake up, that it's a problem! They run all over the room and chew on things. I have to guard my honey carefully, because I still don't believe they won't try to eat it. After all it tastes better than the wall, and they seem to like those a lot!

Since I haven't been sleeping I've been very busy -- I decided to open a store so you can have things with me and the rest of the gang on it. It's taking a little while to get everything up, because typing with my paws is just kind of hard. But here it is with the first few things! Buttercup's Store

my nephew Butternut is coming to visit today -- yeah! He lives with Art's mom -- so I guess she's coming too!

did you know that Art has drawn all kinds of pictures of me? He even did a story book about me, Creamy, Somebunny, and a bee we met last summer. I'll have to figure out how to put those pictures up here. (hey carly!)

I like the bunnies. they hop around and are fun to play with when Art and Carly aren't home. Carly thinks they don't come into the bedroom ever -- he-he-he

The bunnies came on Saturday. They are very nice. Paisley is almost as big as me, but Dora is smaller. Creamy has been trying to ride on them, but he hasn't stayed on more than a couple of seconds. This morning Paisley decided to sleep under the bed, but Carly didn't want him to. She looked really silly trying to convince him to get out of the bedroom. Finally, she resorted to a carrot -- but Paisley was too smart ! He grabbed it and almost got it out of her hands and under the bed..

Finally he decided that the carrot was a good enough reason to leave the bedroom. Which is good -- cause I wouldn't get any sleep today, if he was hoppin around!
